Stop me if you've heard this one!

My buddy just told me I was driving a little yellow TuRD! Wow. A $31,000 TuRD. Imagine. Well, at least he didn't tell me it was a piece of s...! Or did he....hmm. Sincerely, Sam

He's most likely just jealous....won't acknowledge it.

And what does he drive ?????

Update: Yea, like I said...Corvette Z06...he's jealous of your...now learned... more astute approach to fun, and surely your gas mileage as well.

Haven't heard TRD referred to in that way, and is "buddy" slang for Douche Canoe?

He can suck a bag of dix.

I understand they are not the fastest cars in the world but how can someone(guessing a car guy) not like a car that is lightweight and rwd. I forgot also a car that still comes with a manual gearbox.

Maybe your imaginary friend is a troll and decided to make a trolling user name to troll the new yellow TRD edition while he drives with a bus pass.

Sincerely, Rob.

LOL guys. Naturally he was clowning or he wouldn't be a buddy. I just hadn't heard the TRD referred to as the TuRD although I must admit that phonetically, that's how it would be pronounced. I love the "Full Retard System". Very clever. He drives a 2008 Z06 that's not imaginary. Just wondered if anyone else heard this before. TRD has been around for quite awhile and I thought maybe this was "old" terminology I simply hadn't heard before. My last car was also a Z06 (2004). TRD and Scion are new to me and frankly my 1.0 handles better than my Vette ever did. Just not as quick on the straights. Sincerely, Sam :o)

That's my cars nickname my kids gave it and it has stuck.

Even I say when they ask which car we're taking - "the turd boys".

When I was looking at plates given mine is the GT86 TRD model here I was looking at GT TRD and my wife said "you do realise that says great turd don't you". I didn't get that plate!

I've been reffering to TRD as turd for years...

I often just say acronyms because they sound funny. For example STI. When said sounds like S-T. Esti (which is said the same way) is french slang for shit.

wait..... Turd..... Shit.....
Our cars must be shit lol

Me and most of the car guys I know here say turd for trd. It's not calling the cars themselves that.
