Chattering sound on 2015 brz w/ A/C on

Here's the run down. I have a 2015 Subaru BRZ with around 1,500 miles on it. The issue is intermittent, and happens when I put the car in neutral for the last 30 feet or so when coming to a stop at a stop light. The rpm's will drop down to about 500, and the car makes a chattering sound. Once I come to a complete stop the rpm's jump back to about 700 rpms, and the sound goes away. I stop at about 12 stop lights on the way home, and hear it maybe 4 or 5 times out of the 12, but it's pretty easy to duplicate with a short drive. Just wanted to put this out there because it seems like a small issue, which I'm sure has a pretty simple fix, but I just wanted to get it out there to everyone else.

I've checked the post as prescribed. It seems that there are several different issues/factors, and if this issue has been "fixed" with a reflash, then the new software should have been uploaded to a brand new vehicle. Not that it isn't possible, but the above mentioned issues by the countless users are all over the place. There are maybe two people on that thread that truly have a similar problem.

2015's having issues? Maybe I should cancel my order...

To me, this car without the rattling and chattering is like my Rice Krispies no longer talking to me after I pour the milk...

I don't have any chattering sounds (knocks on wood) with my 2015. I do have crickets once in a while, exclusively using Shell V-Power 93 OCT. About 2600 miles on the odo.

Is this the noise you're hearing? It sounds like a jackhammer, but far away (best I can describe it haha). My 2013 has been doing it for a few months now.

This happens with my 2013 as well.. Only when the AC is on and when coming to a stop.. The idle dips and stuff rattles for a sec until rpm's are at normal idle.
"Normal" for this car.. I would think it would have been fixed by now in a later firmware ECM version..
Maybe it will be fixed in the 2029 special edition... But probably not..
