Hello all,
I placed my order for a '15 BRZ Premium recently and it will be a couple of months before it arrives... And so I was trying to get a head start on finding a Subaru dealer / mechanic who is very thorough and understanding of our car and for our best interest. It's either this or manage to perform my own service, although I'd prefer to work with a certified / experienced tech at a dealer or maybe even on the side. Anyone that you guys have very good results and experience with? I'm just north of Dallas, and it looks as though the dealers within close proximity to me are Sewell, Brandon Tomes, and Subaru of Plano. Please feel free to advise if I need to steer clear of a dealer due to prior poor experience. I would avoid an exterior wash as well. Any advice and reccommendation would be very much appreciated.

Oh man... trying to find a mechanic that won't screw you over is difficult to find almost anywhere. You might try one of the monthly meets. Make a few friends, and ask if any one works at, owns a shop or recommends a decent shop.
There where a few guys that where mechanics that I met at the Addison and Fort-worth meetings. |

There is no major scheduled service in the warranty period. Just change your own oils and keep receipts if you are worried about warranty coverage in the future.
