A look into the cars of TTE and TMG (Toyota Motorsport)

I hope it's OK to post this since I shared with you my article on the Toyota GT-ONE!
http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showthread.php?t=72386

To continue my tour around the Toyota facilities in Cologne, I was given access to their "Motorsport Museum" which is generally off limits to the general public. There was such a rich history of cars on display that it was hard to focus on any one car! Although my favorites were seeing the group B monsters, the stillborn MR" group S car (which runs a de-tuned group C engine no less!) and of course the modern hybrids which I think looked incredible!

I think the location only added to the atmosphere. The collection isn't housed in the main TMG building for all to see (although they have certain cars on display in the front foyer, but instead it is found underneath the wind tunnels (Toyota have two). IT's amazing to see the collection of F1 cars for example and know that those lines were perfected in the tunnels above your head!
Since TMG rent the use of their tunnels and facilities (they are a motorsport business after all!), not everybody can go in a look at the collection housed underneath, so for me it made the day all the more special!
