Identify worse Enkei 18's?
Guy is selling these on the local craigslist for $400 obo. They look brand new, but I can't find the model online anywhere...anyone got an idea?

If they are Enkei's, they're not a current production wheel. They don't match anything on Enkei's website. Also, I didn't know Enkei would dual drill their wheels.

The only caveat is that the sidewall of the tire helps absorb shocks. The sidewall of the OEM tire is 3.8" tall. A 245/35-18 has a sidewall height of 3.3". That's a half inch less on each side, for an inch less overall. That's less rubber absorbing shock before it gets transmitted to the suspension. This is why you'll see people saying that 18" wheels will ride a little rougher, just because they're 18's. |
