I've been using my iPhone as my iPod and it's been fine for months. However, starting this past week, whenever I listen to a song, my BRZ sets it repeat. I click on "settings" and turn off repeat.

I don't understant why all of a sudden it's doing that? I plug it in as normal and have done nothing different. Now every time I start my car and plug it in, it auto sets it back to repat. What's wrong?

possibly a setting in the ipod that the head unit is picking up? Also try rebooting the ipod.

Well it's my actual phone. I've checked the settings in the phone, but there isn't anything that says repeat?

I just checked my iPhone and it looks like with the latest OS, all the repeat settings are at the bottom of the "now playing" screen in the Music app. The three buttons you're looking for are Repeat, Create, and Shuffle in red at the very bottom. Hitting the Repeat button brings up a menu to select between Repeat Off, Repeat Song, and Repeat Artist. If it's not this, then I don't know what else could cause it...

It's not that because I haven't updated my phone in a while

I'll be getting a new phone in a bit, so it's not the end of the world, but It's just rather annoying to have to deal with it in the time being.
