Thanks for voting!!

If I win first place they will actually build my design!! Second money price, third smaller amount.

The idea was really simple, lightweight, FR, 4 cylinder engine, might be turbo charge, pretty similar to our car. Full requirements bellow the images if you feel reading.

Featured on Jalopnik LINK

Requirements
  • Design should use a 4 cylinder turbocharged engine. This platform calls for the engine to be located forward, with a center mounted transmission, and rear drive.
  • Two seats, side by side configuration

  • Roll Hoop(s) behind passengers
  • Windscreen that passes at least the height of the eyes of the driver while seated
  • 4 Wheels, 17-18 inch diameter rims
  • Design should include fenders over any open wheels.

Guidelines
  • Vehicle weight for the stripped down version should be as light as possible, preferably under 1600 lbs (726 kg).
  • This car will be the basis for a platform, so there will be full bodied cars designed on this chassis in the future.
  • Track variant base model shooting for in the range of $30k (American) build cost or less.
  • Should be able to handle a large range of driver sizes comfortably
  • Car should have functional features such as cargo storage (define cubic feet of space)
  • Design should include 3 rear view mirrors, left, right, and center.
  • Independent suspension front and rear
  • Tires are 225/40R18s or 225/45R17s, depending on wheel size chosen, 17” or 18”. 457.2
  • Minimum ground clearance is 4”
  • Existing OEM headlights and taillights encouraged
  • Design includes a view showing adherence to the provided H-point diagram
  • Headlights, Taillights, Front and Rear turn signals should be shown in concept slides
  • Headlights must be at least 22” from the ground and symmetrical
  • Turn signals must be at least 15” from the ground
  • Rear turn signals must be same height as front turn signals
  • Taillamps must be at least 15” from the ground.
  • Center High mount brake light must be at least 34” from the ground.

Voted for you (V1 ROUND ARCHES Version. )

I think you nailed the front end (fender forward.) The rear looks good too though I'm not feeling the breakaway bottom line of the bumper into the diffuser. The main thin *I* think is hurting this design is the side videw. The way the fenders just stop showing the chassis. It may just be the lines of the chassis' \ / \ / \ / bracing though. The front fender flows well but the rear is a bit of a wall.

Good luck, some of those 3D renders are damn impressive. Right out of a game!
