Air conditioner issue

Yesterday my a/c was not blowing cold air. It was 90+ here and I left work as usual and the car was hot inside. I usually sit for 1 or 2 minutes with the engine and a/c running and the windows down. Once I got going I noticed it was still feeling hot in the car so I felt the vent and warm air was coming out.
I turned the a/c off and on a few times and tried to adjust the temp and change from recycled air to outside air. At the off ramp I killed the engine and restarted and then tried the a/c again and it started working.
I leave the a/c on all the time, in recycle air mode. This is the first time this happened and I have had the car for 4 or 5 months. < 6K miles.
Has anyone else had this issue?

I haven't had this issue but you might want to check out or report the Issues | Warranty | Recalls / TSB section of the forum. The people there know more about the various issues with our car and they've got alot of threads about known issues/recalls/.

Do you plug anything into the obd2 port? I once accidentally disconnected mine while the engine was on and lost my ac and cruise. A.c. has the same symptoms you described.

Yep I had plugged in my OFT to monitor some settings while driving. I did not test cruise control so not sure if that was also not working. I usually plug in with the key off but I may have plugged in with the motor running yesterday.
