FLOOR JACK

Looking for a low profile floor jack? Harbor Freight has a big parking lot sale this weekend and they have this:

Really though, it's a great floor jack. Never had an issue with it and it's great for lowered vehicles.

I compared the 2-ton jack to this 3-ton jack just this morning.

The 2-ton one has a lower minimum height and longer reach underneath the car. Never used this 3-ton one and my car is stock height, though, so can't speak to it for lowered cars.

I have the same one. I like it. its pretty heavy but works well. my car is stock ride height and a few of my friends with lowered vehicles have used it without clearance problems.

Decent jack, but the 2-ton one is the one everyone usually refers to for the reasons mentioned above.

I have a 2 ton and while the min height is nice and low, the base isn't and the base has to pass under the front bumper to reach the front cross memeber. There is maybe half an inch clearance between the base and the front bumper when doing this.

^The front jack reinforcement is far enough back that significant lowering or minor lowering with a lip will require ramps regardless of your jack.

I have the 2 ton that is 39 inches long instead of 34 (#68050 vs. #60678), and I've had no problems reaching the jack point. The base of the jack is still a little forward of the bumper. Plus, the 24" lift height goes well with the 24" jack stand height from the 6 ton jack stands.
