Fresh off the truck :)
Dealer left this message a few minutes ago, and then called me. Suffice to say this was attached to the message
![]() Since I wasn't expecting this really, I can't pick it up today because it will take 2-3 bussiness days to move around money. Luckly I started the process on tuesday so I could pick it up tomarrow, but by friday for sure! EDIT: It's a WRB limited MT

Yup got it at MSRP. I'm really excited right now and its kinda a bummer I can't make the hour drive to grab it, but I trust this dealership to keep it quiet in the back untill I do.

Mad jelly!
WRB just works for some reason on this car. I wasn't really fond if it on my STI. |

Thanks guys I'm really excited. So when I got off work I drove an hour south to look at it and test drive. I've been driving an evo x 2008 for over four years and here are my impressions. Note I'm writing this on my phone so forgive the brief nature. I will have full details in my journal when I bring the car home.
Seems like everyone begins with handling, and for good reason. Wow! Precision and poise. Those are the two words that describe how this cheetah handles. I brought it around town and put it in sport mode. Without much effort the backend squeeled when I pulled out of a gas station. My evo was not close to as fun in this respect. I did some cornering with it and I'd have to say it just feels better than the evo. The evo could take it faster, but I just felt so much more connected with the road. Power. I thought this was going to be an area i wouldn't like. I set my expectations low, and I'm glad i did. I didn't take it past 4k rpm but its low end torque feel better than the evo's. I couldn't believe it. It, again just felt better. The evo is job sub 2500 rpm. Not so with the brz. It gets up and goes. Pleasently surprised! However, it doesnt obviously have that wave of force that builds over time like the evo. Tranny. Love the feel if the shifter. It's short and clicks wonderfully into place. Much my her better than my evo's notchy 1st 2nd and 3rd. The clutch..... It's too light and feels flimsy. I will need to do something about this. The gear ratios feel natural and inspire confidence knowing the precision of delicious rpm matching will always be there. You will always be at the rpm you want to be at if you bother. Steering. Feels a lot like the evo in some ways. It's kinda heavy which promotes precision. Doesn't have that floaty wrx feel. Love the steering!!! The interior is nice! I have the limited and the leather is comfy and the seats are PERFECT for me. I'm six foot 181 lbs. I feel just as snug in the brz seats as I do in rocaros. In fact, it feels more comfy. The stereo and nav unit are nice. Never had a car with a built in system like this! Anyway more pics to come in my journal and more info as well. I hope to have it my Friday. Any more questions I will be happy to answer. |
