Couple of fresh photos of FR-S
Courtesy of SpyderDan, the administrator of Spyderchat. He and Joel from Toysport got to visit Scion/Toyota Headquarters and get upclose and personal with the FR-S and a couple other new models.
Enjoy! Last edited by Rampage; 01-02-2012 at 12:02 AM. |

I can't decide which of the iQ models there is worse... the white one in the background of the second and third picture is just godawful.
For those who think brand image doesn't matter, I want them to look closely at the top right of the third image... That is what I will forever associate to the brand now

Everything looks fairly nice. As expected a nice drop and new wheels will give it more of a punch but im happy with it, beautiful red also.

Oh nice so THAT'S SpydaDan. Been a while since I've been on Spyderchat but recently I notice ppl there HATE on the FR-S?! Well the FR-S improves on things which the MR-S lacks (my perspective) so must be sibling rivalry.
I have nothing against the image Scion is pushing with the iQ. It's supposed to be a fun little car that deserves success and has no bearing on my decision to buy an FR-S. Here's a new photo from the 86 chief engineer's facebook...

I'm pretty certain that there's going to be only one model for the FR-S. Why wouldn't they show off a FR-S with HIDs, digital HVAC, etc in any pictures?
Hopefully those options will come as optional accessories, but I doubt a digital HVAC will be a dealer option. |
