offset ???
hello folks,
I need your expertise and advise to see if the following will fit. Am not too familiar with offsets and have began some readings. I've tried using the wheel calculator already but am still confused. here it goes. the wheels I like comes in 2 sizes. 17x8.5 +20 offset 17x10 +15 offset I dont plan to *lower my car and am hoping to use our *stock tires, *if possible. will this configuration fit? FRONT- 17x8.5 +20 offset REAR- 17x10 +15 offset (probably will need a wider tires as 225, any recommendations? 255?) or front- 17x8.5 +20 offset stock tire 225 rear - 17x8.5 +20 offset stock tire 225 appreciate your feedback. thanks |

stock height + stock tires + those wheels = funky looking car
the stock tires will stretch with those wheels, your stock wheel gap will look huge like a hookers poon, and the lower offset with wider wheels on stock suspension will give your car a donk look

here is 17x10+21 but lowered and cambered to fit as much as possible, still stick out a ton.
http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showthread.php?t=58349 and 18x10+33 in the rear http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showthread.php?t=38410 and 18x8.5 +22 http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showthread.php?t=37509 there is a fitment chart here with offsets and links to people and how the run them, granted some people like different looks but it might help out get a better idea what you want and how it will look. http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showthread.php?t=7535

thank you
I will have a look at the list also my bad on the stock tires. they are 215 not 225 from the picture it looks like 17x8.5 w +20 is pretty promissing. do you know if I can still turn my front wheel w out being lowered? 17x10 would be awesome but the offset is +15 and would prob need widebody kit to make it look normal. |

keep in mind the farther out your wheels are the more crap gets picked up and flung onto the side of your car. or get some mudflaps.
