BeSpoke head unit/pt296-00140 backlight issue

I have the BeSpoke head unit (pt296-00140) on my 2014 Monogram FR-S, but it no longer emits backlighting--the orange glow behind the buttons as shown in the pic attachment (at night when I have the lights on). Does anyone know why this might be...and what wires I should test/fix in order to get the backlighting? I installed a BeatSonic backup cam and added OEM Audio Plus package, but I believe this problem existed before I performed those two upgrades.

Why even try to fix it? Take it to the dealership for warranty repair.

because I'm sure the dealership will just blame it on the aftermarket accessories--or try to fix the illumination problem and mess up my audio/cam

Have you tried to bypass the oem+ umbilical cord. If illumination is returned then you have identified your issue. That should be an easy check.

I will try that...and if it turns out to be the OAP cord, I will contact OAP for support. Thanks!
