New standard install HU - (i believe PT546-21062) w/ NAV (PT296-00140) - Notes/observ

So, I finally got the standard HU to replace the old Bespoke, and had the nav installed as well.

My question/discussion is:
What was your experiences with the new setup?
Do you like it?
Is everything working for you?

------------
My experience so far.

1. The NAV works great for me so far. It keeps you informed, but doesn't start yelling at you if you deviate from your course like Apple maps does.

2. I saw a video on youtube showing all of the different things you can do with it via bluetooth.
In the video, he showed the HU can sync with your txt messages, read them to you, and even let you reply to them.
This was shaded out for me. I'm not sure why, but I'm sure it has to do with my phone (iPhone 5 running IOS 7.0.x beta)
I think that would be a cool option since the one thing I hate about my phone is talking on it.
[Edit]
Go to: Settings->Bluetooth->(Car Name Here)->Notifications
Make sure that's on, mine was off.

3. The Aha app is about as crappy/worthless as the Bespoke.

4. iPod via the usb/aux cable.
The only issue I'm having with this is when I first get into the car, sometimes it takes a while (~5 minutes) to load and start playing.
I've only had this happen in this situation:
- Listening to iPod while driving.
- Park, turn off car, do whatever (coffee run?)
- keep iPod in car and connected to the cable
- Get back in car (iPod preselected)
- The HU starts up, goes to iPod, and just sits there with a refreshing screen for like 5 minutes.
Workaround
A. Either put it on the radio before leaving the car
B. When you get in, switch to the radio, wait a minute, then switch to the iPod

Edit:
I love the itunes tagging on the HD radio stations.
Tags on my iPod. When I get home, it auto syncs with my itunes via wifi.
It allows me to see the tagged songs, and buy them from iTune on my computer.
I just found this handy. :-p

GPS works great for me as well. Text messages get spoken to me while driving and at a stop I can read them. Can't reply to either moving or at a stop. From my research that is a safety function from the carrier (iPhone 5 on iOS 7 AT&T). Aha is great for me as long as I have LTE coverage then it's hit or miss. The bespoke feature I used once but it's like Siri, pretty useless and pointless. I have an iPod Classic that has no issues picking up where it left off via USB.
