Best resonator to add to mid-pipe?

Hey ya'll. Recently I added the Tomei UEL Header to my exhaust set up and let me tell ya, it's freakin' loud and raspy above 3K. My question is, what is the best or what are the most highly appraised/ reviewed resonators out there? I know there are threads like this that have been made in the past but people don't really answer those threads and I'm hoping that someone will try to chime in on this thread. My exhaust set up isn't "loud" per say, compared to something that's straight pipe. I only have the Tomei UEL -> Stock over pipe -> Stock Front Pipe -> M7 T-Titan Cat- Back. I believe the rasp is coming from the unresonated mid pipe, which I've heard is most likely the source of my rasp.
Thanks!

That's strange, I have the same set up but the perrin reso and have absolutely no rasp. In terms of price would it be cheaper just to switch catbacks? If not the longer the better with resos

That's probably the reason why your set up isn't raspy, because your Perrin Cat-back is resonated; mine isn't. Honestly, it will be cheaper to switch cat backs but I freakin' love my cat back, the tips look better than 99% of the tips on the market. The only other cat back I'd get is the Tomei 80 but ever since hearing one today on a stock system, I don't think I would be able to daily drive my car anymore if I had it with my current header set up haha. Plus the perk of my cat back is that it somewhat sounds like an Invidia N1, deep and rumbly, but raspy in the higher end. I can drive at any RPM and have absolutely zero drone as well.

If it's that raspy with the stock front pipe in it a resonator alone might not be enough to kill the remaining rasp.

You'll want the longest resonator you can fit to make it the most effective. As for brands/models, I'm not much help with that, but any of the major brands should work the same.

I actually wish Vibrant would make an exhaust for this car. I had one on my previous car and it actually sounded very smooth/deep even for a 4 banger, I got compliments on it all the time.

I put an aero on my last car. I think it was a 14". My car sounded exactly like a stereotypical honda... Bees, and change rattling around in a can. After in added the resonator, there still was some rasp, but it was no where near what it was originally. Also killed some of the drone

M7 is one of the best sounding catbacks you can put on the car but once you add the header it makes its so raspy it's almost unbearable. Like you stated I love the look of our catback so it's something you have to decide on nice sound or nice look. I'm sure if you went with a catted header or even a catted resonated front pipe that would take some of the edge off personally I have learned to love it and as time goes on the sound is getting less raspy.

I dont know if the appel racing mufflers, are sold by Any shop in the US.
But thats what pepole are using in Sweden, too make rally cars/ race cars get too the 95db limit we hawe her in Sweden, Whit out losing Any power

This company sel it: http://www.minges.no/ http://www.appleracing.se/kontakt.htm

Exhaust is = avgas in swedish and system is the same in bouth language.
And muffler is = ljuddämpare over her.

Sweden made mufflers, for racing = appel racing ljuddämpare

Thats the only muffler thats quiet Downs built Honda K20´s and so on, for 95db Whit out giwing upp power.

Sorry for the bad english
