ESM 004 size questions- And 17x8 pic requests

There's actually not too many pictures I've seen of these cars with 17x8.

I wanted to get ESM 004s which I assume are BBS LM copies.

I figured if I get TRD springs the lowering of the car will be minimal and I do want the gap to be as small as possible.

**So what size would be best for my purposes? 17x8,17x9, 18x8, 18x9?

I would also at least want a little bit of dish happening as well.

**As for staggered set ups would 17x8 front and 17x9 look bad?

Thanks guys!

Size of the wheel will have very little bearing on the wheel gap, so it's going to be hard to answer your question.

8" wide wheels won't have much dish unless they have a ridiculously low offset. 9", depends on the wheel style. As for 17" vs. 18", it depends on how much you want to spend on tires. An 18" tire can easily be $100+ extra (for a set) vs. the 17" equivalent.

I'm a fan of the square look, but it's up to you. Just keep looking up pics.

What it comes down to is that you really just need to decide for yourself what you want. And it's not the end of the world if you get a setup that you aren't happy with. Just rock it for a while until you can sell or trade them for something else. That's why you always keep the stockers!

Thanks.

Scratch that about the TRD springs. I'm definitely going to track my car at least 1-2 times a year so might as well just get cheap coils.

I think I will get the tein basis, shit it's pretty damn cheap.

And I wasn't talking about like 4 inch lips lol just a little lip is what I meant. ESM specs on their website states 1.5in lips for 8in and 3in lips for 9in wide wheels.

Good enough for me!

Do you guys think light tracking on replica wheels is...safe? I actually just emailed ESM themselves and asked what they think about tracking with their wheels 1-2 times a year lol
