Cat Back Exhaust with Resonator Options?

HI,

I am planning to upgrade my stock exhaust for my BRZ.
I am a daily driver, so I do not want to cause too much attention.
I tried to search from several posts and I only saw that the Perrin's
cat back exhaust has resonator option.
http://perrinperformance.com/i-13323...-fr-s-brz.html

Is there any aftermarket cat back exhaust with resonator?
Thanks.

I love my 3.0" resonated from Perrin. Sounds great under load and pretty quiet otherwise. Went up to Seattle from Portland and it wasn't too loud at all. My co-worker took a couple customer calls and could talk with no issues.

There are many resonated catbacks. You must not be searching well.

HI,

Do you mean this one?

I did not see the resonator in the description or the option.

Thanks again.

Thanks.

I may be wrong but arent most cat backs resonated unless otherwise noted. I mean most have a central canaster or muffler before the main muffles, doesnt this count.

Just taking a browse throught ft86speedfactory's site most pics show a resonator except for the Perrin UNresonated, and FT-86 exhaust UNresonated.

The consensus seems if you ever plan to upgrade other parts of the exhaust (header, overpipe, front pipe) is to keep the inner diameter to 2.5" and opt for a resonated catback. Unless you like rasp and drone.

If you only plan on getting a catback, an unresonated one will amplify the sounds a bit. Resonated CBE only is a little too quiet.

There are a lot of quality options out there. Corsa was #1 on my list ever since I found out they made a catback for the twins.

HI,

How about the silencer?
How much different with and w/o the silencer and how to tell from the pics?
I just noticed that some exhaust mentioned w/o silencer, but not too many mentioned
that they are with or w/o.

Thanks.
