Install Day anyone?

Hi all.

I was wondering if anyone wanted to do an install day. I am thinking about replacing my front brakes and wouldn't mind a helping hand. Just throwing it out there.

I need to swap my brake pads and could use a hand bleeding them as well. Only prob is I need them by the 28th and probably dont have the time to drive to the bay to do it or I would be down for sure.

What about the Motive Bleeder? Yeah... I'll need a hand bleeding brakes.

I would definitely be down for a Pit Row meet. If I don't have anything to install at the time... I'll find something to install, LOL.

Not sure if they do, although they do have a huge collection of specialized tools. Maybe give them a call?

Maybe for those of us who need to flush brake fluid... maybe we can split a Motive Bleeder. It's this thing you hook up to the master cylinder and makes the brake bleeding go a bit quicker.

I've been to pit row, which is a nice place. However, the owner won't be happy with having a meet there. I remember when three of us went to help a friend with his clutch install. The owner is okay with two or so people being there to help a friend, but more than that is pushing it.

When I talked to him about having a meet or install day there he seemed open to the idea. I'm pretty sure the 2 person rule is for general walk-ins. For an install day we should contact them ahead of time.

same here haha, time permitting I may be able to help out a little bit. I have some tools, can help with some brake stuff. (I wrote the DIY on this forum for changing brake pads) If someone has the space and tools (especially air tools and a lift) to work with, that would be awesome.
