I know little to nothing about tuning so this is my attempt to becoming better informed...
I'm not mentioning any names but this is what I have been informed (summarizing); Since our cars were not made for boost they can not handle the extra power. I was advised against pushing E85 tune above 400WHP and my Gas beyond 270 because the rods will fail. After seeing dyno graphs again and again in the contrary to this i'm in search of more information. thoughts? |

I understand that, but two motors have failed within 1 month of the tune. Shop says it the rods and not the tune. I'm just trying to get educated, not point fingers

You had two engines fail? I would say very much so that your issue is with tuning of this indeed occur. Do you have any of the logs?

Its not an "issue" thread... Its a "can the tune bend rods"
I was told by the tunner they pull timing to cut power to prevent rods from bending... |
