OBD2 not detecting but vent gauge working
Hi,
My OBD2 port cannot detect vehicle. I tried with friends cable but did not work either. It would detect sometimes when I keep pressure on the connector to the port. However, my p3 vent gauge reads just fine. My friends cable works on his car. |

I have the same problem with my ecutek cable, the pins in our obd ports aren't reliable enough. Options to fix it are replace obd port at dealer (expensive), repin the existing port (difficult), or just find a cheap obd2 extension cable that works and leave it plugged forever.
