I do have 2 concerns that are not addressed in the video:
1) Cost. The initial investment in this could be HUGE. Yes, the panels will likely pay for themselves in time, but getting people past that initial price point could be an issue 2) Road Noise. The surface isn't smooth, so this could translate into some pretty gnarly noise coming off the tires. This needs to be tested and possibly improved upon.
