Perrin exhaust hangers compared to OEM?

Hi all,

Anyone have Perrin exhaust hangers and compared them to OEM? I'm mostly interested in the length...running my Perrin 3" right now and the clearance between the Diff and s-pipe is scary close (taps on bumps). Would greatly appreciate any insight!

Cheers.

I'm using Cusco ones since they're a bit stiffer than OEM and they are great. I didn't opt for the real extended ones though, but its nice keeping your exhaust in one place with no movement.

I'm running them with my 3" perrin and I have a decent amount of clearance.

Do you know if there's an increase in hole distance between OEM and the perrin ones? Thanks!

I didn't measure them but from memory they looked about the same. I think the biggest selling feature is that they are much stiffer and wont move around alot.

Never bought them when I picked up my Perrin exhaust, just could not justify spending the money to replace the factory ones that were brand new.

I'm running the OEM hangers and my exhaust has been hanging in place just fine.

Yeah, I wouldn't change em either but after reviewing some vids I took of my exhaust note, ,my 3" cbe is banging off the diff on big bumps. Taking it to track in a few weeks, big no no on the later g forces :/

I literally just finished installing my perrin 3" catback, the videos don't do it justice btw, and I have about 1.3 cm between the diff and s-pipe.

I tried moving it pretty vigorously and there is no way it would hit the diff with the oem hangers in my case.

Did you try loosening the v-clamp and twisting the s-pipe a bit?
