What possible Leaks have you found/fixed under the Intake Manifold?

Seem's while having a ton of fun on the way home I found yet another hose that can blow off under boost.... why are there things under the IM that I can't see dammit.

The first one was the Fuel Tank Vapor Line that has no clamps on it. Tonight I checked that it is still on. I cannot find any leaks from looking or trying to feel while hot so I am looking for some help in narrowing down all the possibles so I can hopefully pull the Intake Manifold if I have to and prevent all of this from happening again.

Thanks

There are 3 under the intake manifold. 1) Under the throttle body that leads to 2) Vacuum side of the evap solenoid, and 3) Inlet side of the evap solenoid

Edit: If you remove the A/C compressor and throttle body, all 3 points are easily accessible.

There are also 2 vacuum lines that lead to the top of the intake manifold (under the D4S cover).

If you still have a vacuum leak, fire up a cigar and blow into a vacuum hose

Thank you I think I know which one it is now... Now to find a way to get at least a zip tie on them.

Wait how come those ones under the IM going to the EVAP have factory clamps and mine do not they just slip on. If mine had those it would be great.

Either way thank you very much for the picture that is EXACTLY what I needed, I owe you a beer!

It's actually really easy once the compressor and TB are out of the way.

lol if you're ever up in central Canadia, I'll take you up on that.

I've read that some late production ones have clamps on the hoses, but I think it's safe to say that most do not. I think the picture is an "after" shot, once the clips were installed

see my recent post in the KW owners thread

it seems like I forgot the one right behind the throttle body (which is a lot easier to reach compared to other two btw) I will soon put a clamp on that too..

That pic was taken after the clamps were installed. They happened to use factory style clamps. I used traditional jubilee clip style hose clamps on mine.
