Well suck me sideways….curse strikes again!

Yup, it finally happened to me. I have NEVER been in an accident in the 16 years I've been driving. Start backing up out of my parking spot at the mall….first I look left….nothing, then right….nothing, put my arm behind the passenger side headrest and start pulling out slowly….I see a flash of white and feel the car jerk! She came into my FUCKING lane!!!!!!! I was livid!! Held my rage and got her information. She told me it was my fault since I was backing up. I decided it would be a bad idea to beat her on the spot and smiled through gritted teeth

I'm thankful because it could have been worse. It is just a car in the end and in this case, just a plastic bumper. The quarter panal would have been a whole new animal, plus the rim she would have hit in that case.

I'm thinking a tail light upgrade is in order for my poor battered love (TOMS)

Anyway, little liquid (it's not water, and yes, they are both mine, don't judge), and off to bed I go in a few to dream of non-rashed rear bumpers. I'll call the insurance company in the morning.

Drive safe guys and keep an eye out for old, stupid women!

(mercedes on the right is hers)

Man, though. Woman (most of them) are awful drivers. I'm sorry.

Hey, any excuse to check out a twin.
It's not a double yellow and those parking structures aren't too crowded on that level, why didn't she just go on the other side, instead of ramming into you? Either way, it sounds like she was going too fast. Dumb bitch blaming you.

Exactly! I'm trying to find a way to say it was my fault for not looking again, but all things are pointing to her not paying attention. She is from La Jolla after all.

She could've moved over to the side, you said it happened quickly, so no doubt she was speeding. If she wasn't, she would've had time to react and not hit you; but she did. Plus, the speed limits for parking structures usually isn't above 20mph,soo..She's just trying to push the blame onto someone else, cause she's a moron. What else is new.
Ah, La Jolla, that explains a lot...Went down there for a couple of interviews... GORGEOUS. But....Ehhh. Could rant for days.

Plus,I see the damage is on the left side of your car.
Was she going up the incline, on the other side of the road, and swerved into you? I would think you wouldn't need that much space to back up because you could use the zoned off area to help straighten out.

Wishing you nothing but the best, and even if you are found at fault, karma always has a way of working things out.

She was speeding and cut corners into
"My lane". That is what I'm hoping insurance will see. I literally got a couple feet out before was hit.

Look at the damage (tail light was probably the first hit) and I was fully sideways pulling out

Shame that it isn't a double yellow.
Just put it this way to your insurance, if you were the one to hit her, the damage would have been on the other side of your car. But since it is on the left side, it shows she swerved to hit you, especially since you were sideways pulling out (haha).
It all points to her fault, but you never know.

Is the culprit in the picture?
