V3 spacers on stock setup

I'm running a completely stock setup - tires, wheels, springs. Interested in spacers to bring the wheels more flush (purely cosmetic). However, I'm concerned that it might upset the balance/turn-in/etc of the car - I really enjoy the ways the car handles now and I don't want to make it twitchy or more prone to understeer etc. Anyone have any experience in this area, or any thoughts?
