My whiteline bolts said to use the top bolt hole unless its a race application.
So I used the top holes. |

I already figured it out. You can do both top or bottom bolts

Changing the bottom bolts has a different final outcome for alignment specs.
You can also replace top and bottom bolts for more adjustment. |

I did the tops only using the same product under different brandname... it dramatically affected handling; turn-in response is quicker, the car is more twitchy, more alive.
Be careful of unevenly banked roads at high speeds. I couldn't imagine any more for a daily, but that's just me. |

The tops are called crash bolts I believe. And they are popular. I will probably get some to get more camber to tuck my wheels

Usually if you replace the lower bolt, you'll get more camber than if you were to replace the top. Many people suggest to replace only the top, as the bottom bolt has a lot of stress on it, and shouldn't be altered especially by a smaller bolt because it will be weaker. You can also replace both the top and bottom bolt to get around 2.3 degrees negative camber, but people have found that after some hard driving your camber settings could be way off from what you started at.
All in all, if you want to be safe, just replace the top. If you need more camber than what the top bolts can offer you, get camber plates. |

14mm goes in the bottom. 16mm goes in the top. This is with lobed bolts. The oem crash bolts are 14mm and go in the top slot.
