Cleaned my wheels today

Was at work today and was reading about rotational mass and how conventional wisdom says that conservatively, 1lb worth of rotating mass lost is roughly equivalent to a 4lb sprung mass lost. In terms of converting that to horsepower, it depends on the power to weight ratio before the weight loss.
So I decided to clean the brake dust off my square set up 17x7 rims. As all of you know, these stock pads are pretty dusty. I probably shaved a few grams off my curb weight and man, can I feel a difference in accelerating and braking! Really brings the car alive. So guys, please clean your rims.

I hear hitting the driveshaft with some compressed air can shave a half second off your quarter-mile times as well, unless you buy off-brand air and it sticks to the shaft.

Oil changes add 5% more power to the BRZ, just like in Gran Turismo.

Over the past week I sanded all the paint off my car to cut down on weight. It really made a difference on the straights.

I hear that going down to 0 psi tire pressure is the best. Helps reduce rotational mass by unbelievable amounts, without that extra air weight to move.

You know, that is the reason they stopped painting the space shuttle's external fuel tank. It saved them 600 lbs.
