Talking Which dealership for service?

My car is due for service soon and I was wondering which dealership did you guys have good/positive experiences with for service? I'm in West San Jose, so my options are:

- Stevens Creek Scion
- Scion Sunnyvale
- Capitol Scion
- Piercey Scion

Any feedback/comments etc would be appreciated!

I wonder if a Subaru dealership would be willing to perform your scheduled service. If I absolutely had to take my car in for some reason, I would feel more comfortable taking it to a Subaru dealer who's techs would have more experience with the boxer engine.

Piercey Scion

First time I went. mileage around 6800 - 7000. Weekend. Total time: 2hrs long.
Friendly.
2nd time I went. 8000ish. 1hr and some minutes.
Friendly and I had a different guy. I got a rushed answer he wasn't sure when I asked about the rear diff fluid change.

I can't say much else.

Service I had first oil change.
2nd Service oil change and inspection.

Overall, I didn't find any dings/dents. However I wonder hahaha.

This is a big reason I decide to do it myself. 2 hours for an oil change? Hell, I shouldn't complain. Before I started doing it myself I would drop my old car off and they wouldn't call me until 4PM to say it's ready. GTFO with dat shit

I'll have to learn how to change oil when the time comes. I got my fumuto valve ready to go. Probably spelled it wrong there.

Got my car opticoated at Capitol ! Didn't take too long , ended up taking a nap and oversleeping a few hours !

The employees are pretty nice there , especially Matt who originally scheduled my appointment and met me early in the morning so I can be the first job of the day !

I'd highly recommend Piercey Toyota for service. I've been there a few times for an oil change and simply to visit, and their customer service is exceptional. I'm bringing my BRZ there for future services that don't involve a warranty issue (because Subaru handles that).

I doubt you will go to Capitol Subaru, but if you were ever considering it, avoid that place. I was just there yesterday, and I had a pretty poor experience overall. Besides the poor attitude of two of the service advisors I encountered, they failed to fulfill my one request of not washing my BRZ. I had just completed a 12-hour detail and paint coating application that is very similar to Opti-Coat this past Sunday (I've run a home business detailing cars in my spare time for the past four years).

After I left with a loaner vehicle, I shortly returned because I forgot an item in my car. I came to find that my car had just got out of the detail center and was covered in swirl marks! The service advisor claimed to have written my request on top of the work order and also suggested their "detail professionals" did not see it. He tried to reassure that they would fix the damage by having them "buff it out with microfiber cloths". I don't feel comfortable having "detail professionals" work on my paint when they failed to notice details on a work order.

I have no idea if this will even get resolved. I don't even care if I lower their CSI and their pay/bonuses get docked. I just didn't want my paint getting marred like it had been done, and I want them to foot the bill for either my own business or another detailer to bring it back to how it was on Sunday.

tl;dr: Go to Piercey Toyota for service. I told Capitol Subaru to not wash my car after I just had the paint corrected and coated. They washed it and put swirl marks all over my car, effectively ruining 12 hours of work.

Such bullshit. How hard is it to NOT do something. It's LESS work for them! WTF.

And what kind of person starts working on a flawless red BRZ and puts swirl marks all over it without even noticing. What a joke.

I had a great experience at Stevens Creek Toyota. I thought the technicians were very knowledgeable and they did a great job taking care of my regular maintenance. They were also very enthused about the modifications that I did to the car. Lastly, and most importantly, listened to my request of not cleaning my car after they were done with the maintenance.

May I ask what you are coating your BRZ with?

Just want to use my complimentary maintenance plan (Scion Service Boost). Includes free oil and oil filter replacement, tire rotations, etc.
