Exclamation Can someone review their fr-s/brz after the first few days of ownership

Can someone review their fr-s/brz after the first few days of ownership?

I really appreciated the initial reviews from those of you that received yours

Hasn't everyone who has gotten theirs done that already?

I believe those reviews were in the first 24-48 hours of ownership. Something like a review close to or after a week would be great when ownership has been for that long.

Sadly (for us), I think everyone who's already received their have had their cars in various shops getting outfitted with every kind of aftermarket part conceivable.

It's tough, because I'd really love to read reviews of the modifications done on cars after the owner's had enough time to get a feel for how it was in stock condition (or to have at least gotten it out of the break-in period). But on the other hand, if someone were offering you free or discounted parts for my car in exchange for testing purposes or advertising, you'd be a fool to turn it down.

Figure we're going to have to wait another month or two to start seeing good daily-driven reviews, and another six months or so to get good, informative modification reviews. (Note to current owners: not saying the modifications aren't good, as the ones I've seen so far [*cough*Cusco*cough] look fantastic. I just want before/ after comparisons by people who have lived with the car in stock form for a while, and can accurately quantify and qualify the changes that were made).

Same here. It's just going to take some time.

Not me! I'm keeping it bone stock and tracking the crap out of it trying to set a benchmark for bone stock laptimes and will share my impressions.

Mine will be modified perspective, I think the car is to tame and want a more extreme version of the car. I look forward to general review of the car. Just wait three more weeks and you will get more reviews then you care for. I look forward to seeing modified version of frs/brz and there review.

Might want to watch the car journal threads. I know that's where I plan to post any commentary I have as an owner.

Yeah I never knew why anyone would take this car and start adding parts. You have to drive something stock to really see where it needs improvement. From all the reviews that have been out everyone has been pretty satisfied with this car stock.

I for one wouldn't mind seeing someone with a turbo/supercharger but I wouldn't do that to mine. If I wanted the car more powerful I'd sell my brz/fr-s when a future model with a stronger NA engine comes out or see what I can milk the current NA with intake, exhaust, etc.

I really hope subaru keeps this car NA and rwd.

If I wanted an AWD car I'd grab a 2004-2006 sti or a new A4.

NA and RWD FTW

I wrote something in a bit of detail here if anyone cares to read the long article. THis is my impression of the FRS in original form. It was from a press event, a month before my own car arrived, but this was done on raceway, winding roads of Red Rock Canyon State park, and City of Las Vegas.

I'll have more to say about my own car in an upcoming one I will write up. Right now I'm just too busy driving it around to enjoy it
