Has anyone tried to remove scratches from the 3M body film.
Has anyone tried to remove scratches from the 3M body film ( clear bra ) ??If so how did you do it

3m film unfortunately sucks and once it gets scratched or acid etched by bugs or bird
Shit your pretty screwed. With Suntek or XPEL self healing you can actually clay bar and polish the film and use harsh chemicals like stoners Tarminator to remove bugs and road shmutz as I like to put it. Your best bet with your 3m is to poor hot water on it, then heat it with a heat gun to the point where you can still lightly touch the film and not burn your hand. If your burning your hand then your burning the film. A hit dryer would work best because I don't think it will get hot enough to burn. Then I would try polishing and waxing it by hand with a real mild polish. Do all three steps and you should see a differance. |

I contacted 3M they said i could use a mild scratch remover. They also said to use there white synthetic wax.I used a mild scratch remover. The scratches cam out. No problem.
