Scratches

So my trunk was frozen shut and after I got up and thought it be a good idea to try and get the ice off from near the hinges. NOPE ! I made a few scratches , what is proper thing do to to resolve this?

but if it's a scratch the clay won't get any scratches out since it's just for removing contaminants.

clay, then polish. if polish doesn't work, use compound then polish

The color is definitely different there, but can't really tell what it is.

Is that a scratch? or some rubber/grim that happened to get rubbed onto the paint?

if it's a deep scratch that actually causes base coat paint lost.
clean the surface, wait for a dry day/area.
Then go over the area with touch up paint. It doesnt' even have to look good/perfect,
as long as it covers the area and make sure no rust will start from there
