Pure Pricing?

So I have a question regarding pure pricing..on the first 86 trip many of us asked about the car's pricing..we were told by scion that the dealers were able to sell the car at whatever price they wanted... but scion went on to say "the dealers would do the right thing" in regards to pricing the car for the first 86 winners.

For a manual trans, the msrp comes to $24930, this includes delivery but obviously doesn't reflect tax, title, licensing fees, etc. So I was curious, is this what I should be expecting the initial cost of the car to be if I was told by my dealer they would be true to pure pricing and not mark up the car???

The reason i'm asking is I was given a higher cost for the car (I don't want to get into price specifics) but I guess I was expecting the car to cost $24930 with no options added, as I said above, this would be the initial cost of the car (not out the door after taxes and fees)

Just curious what others have experienced with their dealers.

My dealer called me today to give me the pricing and VIN. Whiteout automatic came out to $26,305 before taxes and fees, so that means the premium paint came out to $275 extra.

His out-the-door calculation after taxes & fees (Clay/Duval county FL, new license plate) came to $29,213.07 before whatever financing/interest charges.

Is your FR-S the one on show at Keith Pierson Toyota right now? I'm going to see it tomorrow and to talk about getting my hands on one/getting my car appraised. I assume your car is AT?

The MSRP on the scion site for the manual trans is 24,930 I ordered white out so it was 275 extra, my dealer told me when he give me the vin number the price for the car before tax title and such was 25,205

Pure Price translates into "The posted/advertised price of that dealership is that price yo pay at the dealership". So the base vehicles should be at $24,930 and $26,030 respectively.

If it's Whiteout, then add $220. for option "PC" (Premium Color). The costs may vary if you're in the Southeast Toyota or Gulf States Toyota areas though.

Other options that were available for the First86 included:

Carpet Cargo Mat $95.
Ashtray Kit $26.
Alloy Wheel Locks $67.
Rear Bumper Applique $69.
Paint Protection Film $395.

Mine came with the floor mats and the rear bumper applique... even though I requested "No options", so total price was 24930 + 95 + 69.

Dealer charged me 399 for the doc fee.

The price is 25094, maybe it's the trunk mat? I might have read it wrong.

After taxes and all it's 26870.58. I'll double check what the two options were when I pick it up.

Passenger Cabin carpet floor mats are standard (part of the 24930). The cargo area mat is $95.
