Exclamation Factory Alarm System

Don't know if anyone has seen this yet but check it out http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showthread.php?t=11049

Its for activating the factory alarm in the twins. Looks like it worked in my car but not sure of a way to test it haha.

You can see when its activated by looking in through your window when the vehicle is locked, and you will see a red flashing (slow flashing) lock on the cluster (located in between the center of the tach, and the 3 rpm range.

Not lit up here but you can see the location of it faintly

does this work for the regular FR-S and BRZ Premium? I though the alarm only came with the Limited and the 10-series.

it's easy, just smash a window and let us know if the horn or alarm goes off.

hahaha jk.

I believe one way to actual test is roll down your window, lock your car, now try to reach through open window and unlock via inside handle. If it is activated that will sound the alarm.

tried that but once i locked the car via button on key i couldnt unlock the car with the button on the door panel. first and last thing i tried last night

I'll try locking it with the remote (buttons on the key) and then using the actual key to unlock the door to see what happens later today.

My security light has always flashed when I lock the car ever since I've owned the car.

The cars alarm isn't very sensitive, you would have to take it into the dealership to adjust the sensitivity.

ok well looks like i got over zealous . i think you have to have the push button start and key fob in order to have the alarm. hence BRZ limited, 10 series and now Monogram. BOOOOOOO
