air flow question
Can someone give me a ballpark estimate of airflow differences between the TRD air filter and the APEXI air filter.
Not looking for hard numbers, just some opinions of TRD oiled 4 ply cotton vs the apexi (I think single layer) dry cotton. I'm sure someone has an idea of which one may "flow" more than the other or rather they might both flow extremely similar |

If you put "site:ft86club.com air filter test" (sans quotes) into your google search engine, you will find some information that may be helpful......

TRD = more
aPEXI = morer Seriously, if your not looking for actual flow numbers, I'd say buy whichever one is easiest to clean and go with it. You won't be able to tell a difference between them. The difference between 3 HP & 5 HP @ 7000 RPM in a 2800 lb. car isn't going to be noticeable. It's just not. I bought an AFE dryflow filter because it's easy to clean and I don't have to oil it.

Just but the drop in filter of your choice and call it a day. You aren't going to be able feel any gains from any intake/filter you may buy. The power increase is way too minimal to waste your time on doing research on intakes.
