1986 AE86 - Imported
Saw this for sale, thought everyone might enjoy a look and wish it were theirs.
1986 Toyota Corolla AE86. Says imported from Japan. http://austin.craigslist.org/cto/4321660501.html Seems a bit steep to me, but what a nice "other" car to have, if it were around $4-5k |

that is a ridiculous price. I would have considered it had it been about half the price. actually, if he would take $5k for it, I'd be on my way to the bank and flower mound right now

Sorry, but I wouldn't even pay $10k for a completely stock, mint AE86. This one has suspension that "handles well" (stiff as a motherfucker) and mismatched tires (wannabe drifter).
Like everyone else is saying, I'd probably give him $5k tops for this. The perceived values of these AE86s are stupidly high. |

Too expensive. I'd rather get S2000.

I've seen F20C and SR20DET powered AE86s on my local Craigslist for $5000-$7000. THAT would be fun.

I live less than a quarter mile away from this location. I think I'm going to have to take a look.
