That red Mustang does look sweet! I really need to convince my wife she needs a new one, but I'd like to see the upcoming new model first.
I do agree with him on one thing, driving an American muscle car does have a different feel to it for me. Everytime I see a Camaro my North Carolina heritage kicks in and I want one to go with (not replace) the FR-S. |

Argh, that's some ugly interlacing in that video in 1080p. Someone should get slapped for that.

Ugh, these guys again. All they did was take footage from the FR-S review and stuff from they're Mustang review and then try and make a new "comparison" video. These guys suck. Video interlacing is the least of their worries.

He wanted a relaxed ride in a bigger car. Well of course the FR-S isn't the car he'd choose then. Make me wonder why he chose to compare it to the mustang. That's like comparing Ice Cream and Steak and saying "well, I think I'll go with the steak since it's meatier and not sweet." Duh.
He's also the ONLY reviewer to call the FR-S or BRZ "sterile" and uncommunicative. They clocked the FR-S with two people in it. Even his buddy felt the need to point out the time wasn't fair. He wanted to choose the Mustang from the start. Not exactly an unbiased review. |

A blown launch on a 0-60 test.oops!Good quotes "the frs kicks ass" "Give me more, I feel like a superstar""worth $25000 you bet it is worth $25000 and probably more." plus others. But when in comparison to the other cars in it's class "A little bit sterile, does everything well but a lack of engagement, a lack of charm" Just seemed odd to me. ![]() The FR-S/GT86 is so sensual with it's sculpted fertile body and great engineering. It's a work of art. I can't wait to drive one and find out about it's engagement.

And that's why this isn't a fair comparison. If they love big American muscle cars then of course they'll prefer the Mustang over the FR-S. The FR-S is for a newer generation that prefers sleeker styling and nimble handling. I personally hate muslce cars. I think they're ugly and I cannot stand feeling the extra mass shifting around. It feels like I've become a fat person. I want a car that fits like a glove and feels athletic!

![]() But the newer gen grew up with foreign sports cars and don't have as much of a tie to the old American muscle cars which these newer cars try to replicate/relive. Just like there aren't many Japanese or Europeans who want Mustangs and Camaros - they don't mean anything to them unless they happen to like big, boxy, powerful cars.
