Fender alignment issue - Bowing out
Hi guys,
Any of you guys facing this issue...Look at the back of the fender where it meets the door. See how its bowing out? I have the same issue on my BRZ on both sides. I'm trying to see if this is something due to hard driving/stiff suspension or if its occurring naturally on all of our cars? Thanks, Autri Last edited by smellslikecurry; 01-29-2014 at 12:19 AM. |

I don't get what I'm looking at. Is it the drivers side that looks to be bubbling out? Is the Robi Spec car a documented case with this problem?

I noticed it first in this picture of robispec's car. Then I went outside and looked at mine and mine looks identical. It's just too dark to grab a picture right now. |

I have it also. It occurs when I track the car. After a session, you can see that the fender is not aligned with the door. I just push it back gently and it realigns itself.

You're talking about the front quarter panel aft edge where it meets the door? The area that covers the door hinges? If so, I think I see what you're talking about.
This is a bit of a stretch, but it might be something in the design to help prevent wind noise, but it's just a bit too much and has become visible. And wtf is with the aluminum foil? |

^ Appears to be wrapped around just the exhaust tips
Maybe hes trying to keep the track tar off them. Thats about the most logical idea I could come up with for it. Other thoughts that came to mind Talking to aliens Poor mans version of ceramic coating Makes "cool" sould like baseball cards in your bicycle spokes |
