Want to make stuff? Maker space in Riverside!

Hey all, I just wanted to share something I've recently discovered and think is pretty darn cool. It's a place called Vocademy in Riverside. It is a maker space and if you haven't heard of that, it's an awesome idea. Basically, it is like a dream garage of sorts that has all kinds of equipment you can use to make just about anything. The best part is that if you don't know how, they have classes to teach you how to do stuff: 3D printing, milling, turning, wood working, and more. While there is a membership fee, $100/month is a small price to pay for access to the equipment they have. Keep in mind that they are real sticklers on safety, so you will need to take the free safety classes so you can use the facility.

Disclaimer: I am in not employed or volunteering for Vocademy, I'm just a very excited member of their facility. They just opened up in October, so it is still a work in progress and they are still developing classes and getting in more equipment.

Here is the link to their website: http://www.vocademy.com/

If you are interested in making your own stuff, check them out and take the free tour.
