Will this fit?

Just bought 17x9 +42 Rota grids and I brought them to a buddies place nearby that mounts and he said they'll work on the stock tires. Just wondering if I am going to need spacers or anything else or am I good. I need to know because he's going to mount them next week.

I'm guessing you're actually going to need new tires that are the appropriate size. Since your wheels are two inches wider than stock you would be lax in judgement to put the stock rubber on your new wheels.

As for if your wheels will even fit without hitting suspension components, refer to this thread.

I've been rocking the stock tires on my 17x9.0 Rotas for 1.5 years and have had zero issues. Just sayin.
