Kenwood DDX370 concerned/question

I just bought this Kenwood ddx370 for my 13 brz from amazon $200 not bad.

[ame="http://www.amazon.com/Kenwood-DDX370-Double-monitor-receiver/dp/B00B7IPT6Y/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1389330874&sr=8-1&keywords=Kenwood+DDX370"]Amazon.com: Kenwood DDX370 Double Din monitor with DVD receiver: Car Electronics[/ame]

I am a bit concerned about the usb port on the car if still be functional or do i need to buy something in order to keep it working? the kenwood unit has a usb port on the back if that helps.

Also are the harness pretty much the same as the stock unit to make a easy plug and play install? or am i needing some type of aftermarket harness?

i really dont wanna pay $50 + for installation, seems easy enough just wanna make sure i do it correctly.

Thank in advance

P.s I will be selling the stock unit if anybody is interested

I installed a 470 in my gfs car. Good unit. You will definitely be wanting after market harness adapters. There's a thread on how to keep the USB. With the 370 you are giving up bt?

Any clue on where i can get the exact harness adapter?

Not really big on the bt, i use my ipod with usb 100% of the time and the bt phone is crap IMO, maybe ill miss pandora on BT, but $87 just for bt seems a bit steep
