wanted white but concerned about paint

really wanted white but since its going to be my daily driver, I'm concerned that in the event I get into a fender bender or a few rock chips here and there its going to be next to impossible to match the white pearl

yea, clear bra it if you're concerned about the front end. however, in an accident, a good bodyshop will have no problem. the pearl white will be easier to take care of than plain white.

Personal preference I think. Clear bras are good at fending off those pesky pinhole paint chips, but look horrible when something larger happens that actually pierces the clear bra.

you can apply a thicker film for it not to pierce very easily

Why is that? I am just curious if you can shed some light.
