Exclamation Crystal eye tails turn signal not working.

I've had crystal eye tails for 9 months noticed last night only the rear driver side turn signal is not working. After work I'm going to Tare down that light and inspect the connections.

This happen to anyone else? Any solutions?
Searching didn't net me anything useful.

Woooowwwww. I'm a failure. Picked up some stuff for my store from anothe location. The boxes were a tight fit in my trunk and some how pulled the connection from the factory harness to the crystal eye harness loose. Everything works fine and I re arranged the harness with some zip ties so it won't happen again.

Almost had to buy a set of toms lol

Any issues with condensation in yours? Also see that your in Oregon. For awhile I thought I was the only one in Oregon with crystal eyes. Where are you located?

He was one of the 'First 86' owners. If you would come out to the tracks, you would have met him by now.

Lucky. 😑 mine have condensation in both, going to do a gasket replacement and see how that works out. Come out sometime. Would like to meet another crystal eye owner and leave these tom/stock owners in the dust!

Crystal Eye condensation

Methinks ALL tail lights will eventually leak.

One of my Crystal Eyes developed condensation. The gasket WAS properly sealed to the light.
It was caused by the continual flow of water from around the trunk and into the gasket, eroding the seal.
There is a natural conduit under the black plastic housing at the top and rear of the lights.

I fixed it by sealing the housing to the car body with snow man snot (stationary store tack adhesive) thus channeling the water away, around and over top instead of under and into the gasket.

Still goin good fer 99 cents.

Get a garden hose and spray the back window-
Watch the water flow from under the trunk and off the top of the tails.

Open the trunk, watch the water flow -
The location for the snot dam is obvious (make the water flow OVER the top black plastic rear housing rather than under and into the gasket).
Other than all the dust and leaves sticking to the snot, its a permanent fix.
It will even work with the poorly sealed stock tail lights (no water at the gaskets).

Well worth the 99 cents.
