Lug Bolts: How long is too long?

So I've scoured EBay for an hour now trying to decide on a set to go with my XXR 530s in Chromium Black on the way in the mail. How long is too long to be sitting in a corporate parking lot all day? And also what color would compliment the car and also keep a professional look? I wanted a mature aggressive look from the start, help me decide but the lugs need to be cheapish or the wife will flip.

I have no idea.

The look depends on how wide your rims are (J) and the offset, as well as what brand&style they are.

I will strongly suggest you to find pics of some others people with exactly the same wheel on their car(can be in different color), and to see how long the lug nuts are.

Then you will be able to know how long they can be, and to get any brand or color that you like with the same length.

BTW the Muteki Burning Blue looks sick with black wheels. I have them on my car.

Just dont like red or gold or any other bright or contrasting color nuts.

Hmmm well I'm sure you've seen the xxr chromium black by now, its more of a shiny dark grey than black imo. Think those would still look good? I kinda like that neo chrome look too

It depends on you.

IMO both will look sick.

The burning blue looks less "cheap" than neo chrome.

Too soft and easy to be ruined or twisted off.

Neo chrome always looks amazing, and good lug nuts are hella expensive, but if you want the extra security, get good lug nuts that'll last and a lock nut.
