Anyone tried this?

I have a Raven FR-S and I'm really tempted to give this a try... [ame="http://www.amazon.com/Turtle-Wax-T-3KT-Black-Box/dp/B001UMZ07A/ref=sr_1_24?s=automotive&ie=UTF8&qid=1388117716&sr =1-24&keywords=car+detailing"]Amazon.com: Turtle Wax T-3KT Black Box Kit: Automotive[/ame]

Opinions? In the spring I plan to either pay to have my car professionally detailed or buy a good porter cable xp and do a bit of paint correction myself. However, I really do wonder whether this will work better than your average turtle wax.

I was tempted to try this a few times myself but the one thing that kept stopping me was that its turtle wax. Call me elitist or what not but I have never been a fan of their products. I did see some decent reviews online by consumers but I haven't come across any professional detailers recommend it.

My advice would be to save up for a PC and research as much as you can to detail yourself. It may be a little discouraging if you don't get it right the first time but after practice and following recommended procedures it's so worthwhile. Plus you'll learn how to correct paint on this car and ever other car you own in the future.

Just my two cents
