Jdm headlights

Hey guys,
So in the Australian gts headlights (which I'm sure is exactly the same as the jdm one), the led strip (drl) becomes less bright once you switch the parking lights or headlights on. I'm wondering how ill be able to stop this.
Ps I won't have any problems in blinding other drivers if I have the drls at normal brightness as I've blacked out my drls and headlights.

I'm not an electrician but my guess is you would have to find the wire that powers those LED's when your headlights are on, and disconnect it, and reconnect it by splicing it into a 12 V ignition wire that's on all the time.
