Plasti-dip Numbers
I have recently found the joys of plasti-dip and had a question. I'm planning on doing more and more track days and you have to have a number on your car, and I like doing stuff cheap, but have it look nice. I know you can dip a whole car but what about a stencil or just numbers? I would imagine you have to remove the stencil before the dip fully hardens but I cant think of any other down sides.
Thoughts and ideas will be appreciated. |

The only problem with plastidip is cleaning up the orversprat all over your car if you dont cover everything well. That's it. I dipped my roof (cover half front and back windows) and I can see overpray on my rear bumper. Clay bar could remove them easily but takes time.
I know you like something nice but painting tape is quite nice if you take your time not juat tearing it. Faster to clean up too. |
