Foglight Cost

Just a question. I bought a base FRS with no options installed, and I would like to install the foglights.

How much would it cost if I go back to the dealer to install foglights?

I believe it's $450 plus installation. Although you can get it from vendors cheaper than that and install your self.

^^^ diode dynamics is a great vendor and i used them to do my quad bixenon headlights

but fog lights, nigel-jdm came out with a kit just before thanksgiving that i picked up asap for $112. Looks like the price is now at $109:
http://www.nigel-jdmparts.com/frs-fo...-kit-set-basic

and its very easy to do at home. heres a youtube vid that explained wiring to me (its a two part video so make sure to watch the second part also)
[ame="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p5xmjxmRYBc"]Scion Frs Fog Lights DIY (Part 1) - YouTube[/ame]

this guy decided to do it without taking off the bumper. id recommend spend the extra effort and take off the bumper. it makes installation take more time, but there is less headaches this way.

Honestly, I don't trust my installation DIY skills.

If I were to buy it from Diode Dynamics, what would be a good installation price from auto repair shops or auto body shops?

It took me an hour to complete. So, it is all depending on the labor charge at your local repair shop.

My recommendation is to post this in your regional forum or talk to your local members to see if they can help you with this. It is very easy to install.

I just priced the Toyota original kit from Toyota of America and they quoted me $415 + shipping for just the kit. I thinking about ordering the one from the vender on here for now $150+shipping. The only difference is that they come on with your Headlights

Why do you recommend OEM over aftermarket?
Any compelling reasons?
Thanks
