ATEQ Quickset help?
I recently put winter tires purchased from tire rack on my FR-S and have been trying to use my ATEQ Quickset to set the new TPMS IDs. I made sure I entered all the values correctly but when I flash the winter values to the car the tire pressure light still blinks for a minute and then goes solid. Do I have to drive around a bit for it to take or do the IDs have to match the correct wheels? I'm starting to think maybe one of the sensors is bad or I was given a wrong ID.... Anyone have any ideas?

Should be immediate. Make sure you have the right ID's, that was my problem originally. They had written down all my ID's and a B was actually an 8 or something like that. If you are sure about the ID's and want to narrow it down to a specific sensor, go back to summers and then swap in one winter ID at a time until you find the one that fails. Then maybe confirm the ID with your vendor or get a wheel place to check if it's faulty.

I did what you suggested and it seems they mixed up a B and an 8 as well! Thank you for the help. Hopefully the light stays out now.

HI, I have one another question. Did I need to correct the ID information, if I did the tire rotation? It looks like four tires have their TPMS ID. I am worried that ATEQ only can save four vehicles, so if I did the tire rotation and need to save it again. I might run out of room soon. I did see the delete vehicle button there, is that function? Thanks. |

No need to reconfigure the IDs when you rotate. Our cars don't care which corner is which since it just triggers a generic TPMS error when any of them drop below the threshold.
The tool can only store two sets at any one time (winter and summer) but you can reload as many times as you want via the software. Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk |
