Brake fluid flush - need some help
So just finished installing new SS lines and was going to change the fluid once done. On the FL wheel, I lost a ton of fluid and pretty much ran the reservoir dry, the fluid level was below the wires coming out of the bottom of the reservoir (don't tell me this is the ABS sensor). I immediately filled the reservoir back up, but did I already screw up the MC? Have not pumped anything yet, but it is possible that it drained low enough to let air in the lines. Never done a bench MC bleed before and don't have the tools for it, but what options do I have from here? Just continue bleeding the lines and hope everything is fine? Don't really like that option, but don't want to screw anything worse.
Any help would be much appreciated! |

Feel out the pedal first, to see if it's mushy or not.
Are you bleeding with power bleeders? Gravity? It's difficult to say without knowing exactly what happened in person. |

Just gravity, local shop didn't have the right size speed bleeders. Thought they were m10 x 1.0 but didn't fit so having to do gravity.
Will update tomorrow after work once I'm able to work on it some more. |
