Will 18x9.5 +40 square clear stock struts?

Pretty sure the rear will clear but don't think the front will. Can anyone out there confirm that this or something with even slightly better clearance didn't fit when they tried?

I did a quick search but I should've been asleep an hour ago and can't stay up searching.

Don't know but +38 did without rubbing and 1" drop and camber at -1.5

It will clear even with stock struts, but very close to spring perch. Mine is 5-6 mm away from perch offset + 38. You are dangerously close if u r using stock struts.

I doubt it. I'm running 17x9 +42 (but with 3mm spacers effectively making it +39) and I ended up taking a grinder to my spring seat to add a bit of clearance. I am running camber bolts though, and I realize that makes clearance a tad worse. Without the spacer the tire touched the seat hard enough that the wheel would barely spin when I attempted to do so.

For the record, I'm running 245/40 Rivals.

I have heard stories of people of being able to clear the fronts running 225 on 9.5 on lower springs but its very tight fit

The wheel itself will clear, but depending on your tire size + camber, there's a risk of rubbing.

Depends on tire and camber. In all likely hood with the camber you will want to run at that offset, no.

Thanks for the replies. I'd be on OEM crash bolts with -1.2 degrees camber and lowered 1.2-1.4 inches. Would likely need coilovers. Is it true the new Bilstein B14 coils have the same spring diameter as stock?

No, this will not. That 2MM difference won't clear the stock spring perch in the front. It will rub there but not in the rear.

I ran my RPF1's, 18X9.5 +38 on stock suspension for a while and I could barely get a finger through where the tire almost hit the spring. You'll need small spacers up front if anything.

Only solution i have atm if you dont need coils is changing to koni shocks up front and maybe that may clear the struts?
